Governor Murphy’s Executive Order 107, Tips, and additional Info

As concerns of the COVID-19 Virus grows the Ridgefield Park Police Department would like to remind residents of simple ways to help reduce their chances of contracting the virus.

  • Residents should maintain a social distance of a minimum of 6ft
  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds.
  • Cover your mouth with your arm when coughing and/or sneezing
  • Wipe down surfaces that are frequently used.

As per Executive order #107, Governor Murphy has ordered that all NJ residents shall remain home unless they:

  • Are obtaining good or services
  • Are obtaining food
  • Seeking medical attention
  • Using essential services
  • Seeking assistance from law enforcement
  • Visiting close family members or people who they share a close personal relationship with

All parking enforcement throughout the Village has been suspended until further notice such as:

  • Alternate side enforcement
  • Permit Parking
  • Meter Enforcement

We ask that you keep an eye on our seniors and neighbors that may need assistance.  If you know of any resident or senior that needs assistance please contact the the police department at 201-641-6400

We also understand that this is a frustrating time for residents, businesses, and the community as a whole.  Together as a community, we will get past this difficult time if we all work together.  We are here for our residents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
