Covid-19 Updates and Information

The Ridgefield Park Police Department is sympathetic to the fact that residents have a heightened sense of concern during this COVID-19 outbreak.

Our Department is requesting you to please note the temporary changes we have implemented due to this current outbreak:

Our Records window on the ground floor is closed until further notice.  The Records Clerks are working Mon-Fri 8AM–4PM and can be reached at 201-641-4950, select option 9 or by email at records@rppd.org.

The ground floor lobby of the Police Department is currently locked.  If you need to respond to headquarters for situations that cannot be handled by telephone, you will be able to enter the first door in the lobby and see the second door is locked.  There are instructions posted to communicate with the Dispatcher via an intercom on the wall to your right.  You can follow the Dispatchers instructions at that point.

If you call 911 or 201-641-6400, you may be required to answer a standard series of questions to determine any potential level of exposure to the COVID-19 virus.  The truthful answer to these questions is paramount to the safety of our responding officers as well as our community.

We will do our best to update you with any other pertinent information in a timely fashion.  Stay safe, healthy, and remain calm during this unsettled time.  Follow all the orders put in place by the Village, Bergen County & the State of New Jersey.

Chief Edward Rose

Ridgefield Park Police Department
