Delta Gas Station Robbery

On Monday June 9, 2014 a service station attendant was shot during the course of an armed robbery at the Delta Gas Station on Route 46 West.

At approximately 10:33 pm a single suspect approached the attendant. During their interaction, the suspect produced a black handgun and demanded all the money.  The suspect subsequently fired one shot at the attendant, striking him in the abdomen before making off with several hundred dollars in cash.  The suspect was last seen entering a vehicle which was parked on Main Street adjacent to the scene of the crime.

The victim was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center by the Ridgefield Park Ambulance Corps where he underwent surgery and continues to recover in the hospital.

We are still looking for a black male, approximately 25 years of age, approximately 5’ 10” in height.  During the robbery, the actor was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, with the hood up.  Note that he was also wearing some other type of head-covering underneath the hood.

The vehicle was described as a small black vehicle, possibly a Nissan.  It was last seen heading north on Main Street, and possibly turned east on Brinkerhoff Street.
