Winter Weather Advisory: Follow Snow Parking Regulations

A winter weather advisory remains in effect from 6:00 pm Wednesday until 6:00 pm Thursday.  Precipitation is expected to change to all snow by evening.  The snow is expected to continue throughout Thursday, mix with rain in the afternoon and transition back to snow by Thursday evening.  Total accumulations are expected to be in the 3-6 inch range.

This will be a wet, heavy snowfall.  Winds are expected to be in the 18-22 MPH range on Wednesday night with gusts near 33.  Thursday’s winds are expected to be in the 20-25 MPH range with gusts near 35.  Flooding and power outages are possible.  Residents are advised to do the following:

  • Follow the snow parking regulations until roadways are clear.
  • Monitor the weather.
  • Avoid unnecessary travel.
  • Prepare for power outages.
  • Check on elderly neighbors when safe and possible to do so.
